Trevi fountain coin toss!

As a nice end to the trip, we organised two nights in Rome... No big deal :)

To get from London to Rome only took two hours.

I was dying to see more of Italy.

On the Contiki we went to Venice, where my parents spent their honeymoon. However, I was so eager to see Rome.

We booked accommodation through Airbnb and saw so many beautiful sights, such as Colosseum, Pantheon, Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and the Trevi fountain which is known for being one of the most stunning fountains in the world.

I followed the tradition of throwing a coin over my shoulder, which ensures a return to Rome, luck and a safe journey home. What I didn't know was that the coins are collected every night and given to an Italian charity called Caritas. I loved Rome and hope to go back! Love always,

xx
